Dan Gitomer (board)
Dan Gitomer retired in 2020 after almost 25 years at Duke University. Dan held various roles in I.T. with the Health System and the Law School. Previously, he was the Lighting Director and Network Administrator for the Annenberg Center for the Performing Arts at the University of Pennsylvania for 10 years, and a touring Production Stage Manager for the Zero Moving Dance Company, based in Philadelphia. Moving to Rome, for his wife Laurie to take a job with The Spires at Berry College, he has served on the boards of The Rome Little Theatre and The Historic Desoto Theatre Foundation, while also designing lighting for numerous RLT productions over the last 5 years. He is a member of the North West Georgia Woodturners, a chapter of the American Association of Woodturners. He looks forward to working with DIGS and supporting the community.
