Good Notes

Dear DIGS – Skills for Life Program,

It is with immense joy that I share wonderful news with you. Stewart Title Foundation will be making a generous donation of $500 to DIGS in my name, in honor of my mother, Mardi Jackson. I am fortunate to be part of the Stewart family—a global real estate company headquartered in Houston, Texas, with offices around the world. Stewart has always been committed to giving back by supporting the communities where our employees live and work. Please watch for this donation in early November.

For the past 15 years, my mother has cared for her nephew and my cousin, Daniel Jackson. As Daniel has grown into a young man, the caregiving journey has brought new challenges—especially as the support and services he once received through the education system diminished after he turned 21. One of the most impactful resources for Daniel has been attending DIGS – Skills for Life. The social interaction, real-world experiences, and life-skills education offered through Skills for Life have provided structure, community, and a sense of fulfillment in Daniel’s life. For this, we are deeply grateful.

This donation is not only a token of appreciation for the incredible work of Skills for Life but also a tribute to the ongoing, essential mission of DIGS. Your organization is a beacon of strength, inclusion, and education for individuals and families throughout Rome and Floyd County.

Thank you for being a remarkable force in the community. It is an honor to support your mission of supporting those who add so much value to our lives, like Daniel.

Warm regards,

Haley
