Mary Sheppard Kimbrough (board)
Mary relocated to Floyd County when her daughter, Katie, became a student at the Georgia School for the Deaf. She spent two years teaching at GSD before accepting a position as a Pre-K Special Education teacher with Floyd County Schools. After more than three decades of teaching and supporting children with diverse learning needs, Mary now shares her experience and passion as the lead mentor for the Skills for Life support group at DIGS. Outside of work, she loves spending time gardening, kayaking, reading, and painting.
