Lori George, ED
Lori George was born and raised in Rome, Georgia. She is a graduate of Armuchee High School. She attended Georgia Highlands and Shorter University. While in college, she worked part-time at the Sara Hightower Regional Library and the Rome Braves. After many years of hard work and dedication, she was promoted at the Rome Braves to “Community Relations and Special Event Manager”. During her time with the Braves, she found a passion for working with the special needs population and put all of her extra time and effort into Miracle Field and Challenger Brigade. Due to Covid-19, the Rome Braves didn’t have a season in 2020, and Lori’s position was eliminated. For two years, she tried to find passion in a career elsewhere but found herself still looking for a way to positively impact the community of Rome, specifically the special needs population. She is thrilled to take on the challenge of fundraising and expanding all DIGS, Inc. has to offer to Rome.
