Learning About Local WildLife

This months DIGS Camera club outing was at the local Eco Center, where Ben Winkelman explains to  club members about the wide variety of wildlife in and along the rivers in our area. Camera Club members took pictures of the mounted animals on display as well as some real ones in glass aquariums.

The Eco Center in Rome Floyd County is a  place for kids & adults to learn about the environment and local wildlife in and around the Etowah, Coosa, and Oostanaula Rivers. For more information check out the Eco Centers Facebook page. The DIGS Camera Club enjoyed learning about the animals in our own backyard and hope to go back again soon. Thanks Ben!
